Couples
Therapy

Marriage is not a noun; it's a verb. It isn't something you get. It's something you do. It's the way you love your partner every day.
- Barbara De Angelis

Do you find yourself on the brink of separation, wondering if there’s any hope?

Are you and your partner experiencing betrayal trauma that you feel you may never recover from?

Is your relationship lacking the joy and contentment it once had?

As a therapist specialized in betrayal trauma, I often work with couples who find themselves at a standstill, either path they choose is painful, complicated and feels impossible. You may have always said that betrayal trauma is a "deal-breaker", but now that it has happened..... you aren't so sure.  In the wake of betrayal trauma the future can look bleak, uncertain, painful and hopeless, but with some additional therapeutic support you and your partner can make your way to one another.  With some guidance and, admittedly a lot of hard work, you and your partner can gain connection, security and the mutual respect that you have been missing.

Whether you feel your relationship is in immediate danger or perhaps you’re ready to learn additional tools to take your relationship to the next level, I’m ready to work if you are.  I am invested in helping couples move forward and I work hard to provide tools, activities and skills in a compassionate environment.  One of the most inspiring aspects of my work with couples is seeing how resilient love can be and how willing couples are to turn towards one another in the wake of trauma and hurt.
